The MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY campaign is a huge coalition, including the churches, which has been launched to tackle world poverty.

MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY is designed to press world leaders to introduce a just trade system, cancel unpayable debts and provide more and better aid.

Via the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY website, you can write to Tony Blair, order a white band, get information and sign up to the campaign.

Fairtrade Foundation

The theme of Fairtrade Fortnight was “Check out Fairtrade”.  The aim was to encourage people to check out the growing range of Fairtrade products that are becoming available, and to take more Fairtrade products to the supermarket checkouts.  We can buy Fairtrade products, and at the same time campaign for trade justice.
